President Bush toured the Yuma sector near the U.S. Mexico border and in his speech discussed technologies used in securing our borders. The President said “with technologies and high-tech fences in urban corridors and patrol roads and barriers in rural areas and motion sensors, infrared cameras, unmanned aerial vehicles. All the equipment is aimed to enable the Border Patrol to do their job. We're adding additional equipment which will enable the 18,000 Border Patrol agents we'll have in place to be able to effectively control this border.”

ICx New Heights is part of that initiative with Sky Watch units equipped with infrared cameras are deployed at strategic locations along the border.
